I think I’m going to be unpopular in my view but I really don’t understand the attraction of school uniforms.
One thing always astounds me, we as a society, tend to look down on age play and yet one of the most common fantasy and role play situations is that of the school uniform. Although I have little tendencies, dressing to look young makes me feel quite uncomfortable.
Maybe it just reminds me of my school days, which I absolutely hated. The best memory I have of my school uniform is getting home on my last day and burning it alongside all my books. Maybe it’s because I’m not very good at role play, I just feel awkward in costumes, more frumpy than sexy, even though Sir says I look cute.
Having said all of that, who can resist short skirts and knee high socks, being bent over Sirs knee for a spanking and ties do have their uses too.

It doesn’t do it for me, either – and I thought I was the only one to have burned my uniform! (My parent were so angry at me… but it was worth it.)

From reading other posts it seems that your feelings and views are actually in the majority. I find the look incredibly sexy and I know it turns him a LOT too, it is that loop between us that really makes it hot for me

I’ve always been a little confused by the apparent non-link between ageplay fetishists and the appeal of school uniforms. I really do think they are very separate kinks for those that engage in them – tho the link in my own mind makes it hard to enjoy the school uniform as a kink. (~pondering~)

Nothing wrong with your opinion and no reason it should be unpopular. While the look works for me with certain limitations it certainly doesn’t work universally.
And burning books and uniforms was a favorite past time. An annaul ritual action to indicate summer had begun. Far outside the world of kink I have been present for skirt burnings including those of my own kids so the tradition lives on in that sense.
